Want to host an at-home puppy party? In the right circumstances, we’re happy to bring the Pudgys directly to your space. Because all of our puppies are rescues, guest management is a collaborative effort between you and the Pudgy team to ensure a safe, calm, and positive experience for both humans and puppies.
Rescue Puppies & Ethical Puppy Party Practices
Every puppy you meet at Pudgy’s Place was pulled from neglect, abandonment, surrender, or worse. We take them into our home, provide medical care, vaccinate/deworm, and rehabilitate using funds provided by classes, parties, corporates, and Party Pups. We teach them manners, give them space to decompress, and help them trust people again- all through the Pudgy events and community.

How Our At-Home Puppy Parties Work
Healthy, Vaccinated Rescue Puppies
Rolling up with all of the healthy, vaccinated puppies in our care, along with our Pudgy security team, Chunk, Chubbs, and Smalls- we guarantee a fun, at-home puppy party you can feel good about.
A Puppy Party That Supports Rescue
All net proceeds from your puppy party go directly toward the rescue, rehabilitation, vaccination, and nutrition of the puppies in our care.
On-Site Setup, Support & Guest Guidance
Our team will set up the puppy pen and remain on-site throughout the event to assist with proper puppy handling, answer any questions your guests may have, and help with photos or videos they’d like to take.

Because we do not work with breeders, we cannot guarantee the specific breeds attending your puppy party. Each event may include a mix of shedding and non-shedding puppies. If allergies are a concern for you or your guests, we recommend not booking to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
Rescue-Based Puppy Parties: What To Expect
Puppy Health & Veterinary Approval
Not all puppies in our care attend puppy parties. Only puppies who are healthy, vaccinated, well-socialized, and have been given the green light by our trusted veterinary partner, Truscott Animal Hospital, are selected to participate. Each puppy’s wellbeing comes first, and attendance is always based on what is safest and most appropriate for them at the time.
When a Puppy Party May Not Be the Right Fit
In some cases, a puppy party may not be suitable, including:
Events involving loud entertainment or high-energy environments
Situations where guests may not be able to follow handling guidance
Settings where puppy rest and boundaries cannot be respected

Creating a Calm & Safe Puppy Party
Our puppy parties are designed to be joyful, gentle experiences that prioritize the wellbeing of the puppies in our care. Because these puppies are rescues, maintaining a calm and respectful environment is essential for everyone’s safety and comfort.
To help create the best experience possible, we ask that the following be kept in mind:
No loud music, sudden noises, or amplified sound
Guests should use calm voices and avoid shouting, clapping, or rough play
Guests must follow staff guidance around puppy handling and boundaries
The puppy pen should remain a low-stress space throughout the event
If a puppy chooses to rest, step away, or disengage, we always respect that choice.
Arrival, Setup & Cleanliness for At-Home Puppy Parties
Pre-Party Arrival & Setup
Our team arrives approximately 30–40 minutes before your scheduled puppy party time. We begin by disinfecting the floor area where the puppy pen will be set up, then arrange the space with beds, toys, and enrichment items the puppies enjoy.
Post-Party Cleanup & Disinfection
After your puppy party wraps up, and everyone has had the BEST time- we fully disinfect the area again and take all garbage with us, leaving your space just as we found it.
Puppy Safety & Guest Support During Your Puppy Party
On-Site Pudgy Staff & Puppy Handling Support
Throughout the event, trained Pudgy staff remain on-site to support proper puppy handling, answer any questions your guests may have, and assist with photos or videos.

What types of parties do we do?
All of them! Birthday parties, kids birthday parties, bachelorettes, engagement parties, divorce parties, Christmas parties… basically any party!
What kinds of puppies are coming to the party?
Because we dont rent our puppies from breeders, and Party Pups parties are in support of our rescue, we are unable to tell you in advance exactly which puppies will be coming along. There will be a mix of shed and non-shed puppies.
What is the minimum age for a puppy party?
Our at-home puppy parties are designed for children 6 years and older. Because these events take place outside of our studio setting and do not include on-site ECE support, we kindly ask that parents or guardians remain actively involved in supervising children during the event to ensure safe puppy handling.
Are the puppies available for adoption?
Yes, some of the puppies will be available for adoption. However, cannot be adopted from the party, we ask that you use our standard adoption application process, located here.
Are the puppies healthy?
As you know, Party Pups only uses rescues, and yes there was a time when the puppies came into our care when they would not have been healthy and vaccinated. However, through funding by Party Pups and Classes at Pudgy’s Place, all the puppies attending the party are happy, healthy and vaccinated.
Where do the puppies live?
With us! The puppies do not live in a shelter, they live with us in our homes. We are; the rescue, the foster, and the adoption center.
Can the puppies come out of the pen?
Yes! In addition to having enough staff to assist with puppy handling, we come with puppy slings, kind of like a purse- that the puppies can go in, remaining safe and secure while giving you an opportunity to hold them.
